Studio News: Wassilfest!

Hello & Happy Holidays!

I have a bunch of news I am excited to share with everyone for this upcoming Holiday Season.

Wassilfest: December 2nd, 6pm
Griffin Photography will be giving out Wassail in this year’s Wassilfest! We will participating with our sister company 50 Foot Design. Justin Dixon of 50 Foot Design has been perfecting his special brew over the last couple of weeks and we have been his test guinea pigs! We will be handing out both and alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of your brew. The office will also be open at this time for you to stop by and take a look. We will be handing out gift certificates and you can also register to win a free session.

Holiday Bookings

We are completely booked on the weekends for the rest of the year, but we do still have a few spaces open during the week. Please call or email the studio for more information.

Holiday Deadlines

Studio Print & Holiday Card order deadlines for Christmas are December 5th, For New Years December 15th. The Pictage online holiday order deadline is December 13th. We are already past the deadline for album orders to be completed by Christmas. All albums approved in December will be delivered in late January or early February.

December 18th-January 3rd

If you need to schedule a newborn session during this time, please call the studio and we will fit you in.

Black FRIDAY Specials (Expires Midnight 11-27-09)

Just for today until midnight November 27th, you may purchase portrait sessions for over 35% off a regular full session! That is $50 for a studio session & $75 for a location sessin in New Braunfels or Gruene. The sessions can be used anytime between now and March 31. (If you have procrastinated your holiday sessions you best hurry up and get into the studio). The Black Friday sessions make great gift certificates for babies, children, high school seniors and families (up to 5). Simply click the button below and choose the session you want by using the drop down menu and click to pay by PayPal. I will contact you next week to schedule your session or to just touch base if you want to wait till the spring.

2010 Wedding Photography Giveaway!

Wedding Photography Giveaway We had such a great response last year to our Wedding Giveaway, that we are doing it again bigger and better!

I am looking for one creative couple getting married in 2010 or 2011 that thinks outside of the box for their wedding plans. I am looking for cool locations, themed weddings & awesome DIY details. I am looking for a fun couple that will inspire me and my work, that truly appreciates originality.

The Prize (Valued at over $3500):

ALL your high resolution digital negatives on DVD with rights to print
90 day online gallery

To Enter:
Please email Sarah at sarah@griffinfoto.com
with your wedding date, location, all your wedding details and a photo of yourselves. Please also include an inspiration board showing your ideas for your wedding and a paragraph telling me a bit about yourselves and how you met. The winning couple with be based on originality and creativity.

Who Qualifies:

A couple marrying in 2010 or 2011 in the Austin & San Antonio area -or- willing to cover travel if over 60 miles out of the New Braunfels area.
We must already be available for your date.
The couple understands they and their story will appear on the blog and everyone will get to hear about your special plans and day.
You can’t have another professional photographer that day.

Travel:
The Bride and Groom will provide travel expenses if the wedding is located outside of the Austin/San Antonio area which may include 2 nights hotel, airfare & car rental.

The NEW blog is finally here

April 14, 2009

With the help of my sister (50 Foot Design), I have updated my blog design and hosting. The new blog is more user friendly and has slide shows and ENORMOUS pictures. No more pulling out your magnify glass to see your sneak peak. So the only down fall to this blog? If you had subscribed to my blog update via email, you will have to resubscribe. The program won’t let me switch my new feed over There is a subscription link at the bottom of the new blog to get resubscribed. This link also gets you signed up for our monthly E-newsletters in which we announce specials not published on the blog.

The Gardens of Cranesbury View

Just wanted to share these pictures I took for The Gardens of Cranesbury View. My sister was the beautiful model. I think she was just ecstatic to get into her wedding dress again because she never had any bridals done. The Gardens are a new events venue off 46 that will be completed in March 2009. It is gorgeous and features Italian sculptured gardens and beautiful views of the hill country. Amy, the owner, has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. I just know this new venue is going to be a great success with her direction.
