WILL YOU BE THE PHOTOGRAPHER AT MY EVENT?
Yes I will. I shoot every wedding personally and I bring an assistant to help me during the wedding.

WHAT KIND OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT WILL YOU BE USING?
I use all NIKON professional equipment. I bring along 2-3 different camera bodies as well as several lenses and other back-up equipment.

ARE YOU A FULL TIME PHOTOGRAPHER?
I am a full time photographer and this is my only job. Griffin Photography is a full time portrait studio that shoots newborn, family, senior and commercial projects.

HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY FORMAL TRAINING AS A PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes, I obtained a degree in photography and studied under numerous wedding, commercial and portrait photographers for almost 7 years before starting my own business in 2006. I also continue my education every year with workshops and photography seminars.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU TAKE?
I generally I capture 100-150 images an hour. Pictures are edited down to the best images and you will receive at least 75 images for each hour of photographic coverage.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Yes, we accept credit cards through google checkout and paypal.

DO YOU HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes we are fully insured, and we can also provide proof if you need it for your venue.

ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
YES! I have my passport and am available for international as well as US weddings. I only charge airfare & hotel in addition to your package.

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
We only charge a travel fee if your wedding is more than 45 miles away from our New Braunfels studio location (78130). We charge 60 cents a mile each way afterward. So if your event is 60 miles from our studio it would be $18, 90 miles – $54, 120 miles – $90.Travel over 150 miles may incur a hotel, airline and other travel fees. Call for an exact quote.

WILL YOU POST THE PHOTOS ON THE INTERNET?
Yes, online viewing and ordering of images for 90 days is included with all wedding photography packages.

HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL I SEE MY IMAGES?
Each image is individually processed for optimal exposure, contrast, colors, and tones. This is a process takes 4-6 weeks after the wedding to complete and all of your edited photos will be posted online for you and your friends and family to review and order prints.

DO WE GET ALL OUR WEDDING & SESSION DIGITAL NEGATIVES?
Yes, you receive all your high resolution digital negatives on DVD 1-2 weeks after your online wedding gallery is posted.

CAN I GET PRINTS MADE ANYWHERE I WANT WITH THE DVD?
Of course! The images are for YOU! I wouldn’t recommend making prints at Walmart or Walgreens. We encourage you to use a professional lab like mpix.com to print your images. We  also offer high quality luster archival prints in the online wedding gallery.

ARE ALL THE PHOTOS ON THE DVD EDITED?
Each and every photo has a standard edit for color, exposure, and contrast. I also apply premium edits to my 30-50 of my favorites in your wedding gallery which include b/w, sepia, and other color effects minor facial retouching. All prints over 8×10 ordered through the studio get superior edits which include b/w, sepia & other preferred client effects, major retouching, mounting and a UV spray coating.

DO YOU GIVE US COPYRIGHTS TO THE PICTURES?
You are given permission to print the images for yourself, friends and family, but we retain ownership of the copyrighted images. You cannot sell, edit, post images on facebook or advertise with the digital negatives without the written consent of Griffin Photography. We do provide web-size images with our copyright for posting and sharing on the web.

WHEN YOU PHOTOGRAPH A WEDDING, HOW LONG DO YOU NEED FOR THE FORMAL PHOTOGRAPHS?
About 30 minutes but if you want to get creative shots of the Bride and Groom and/or the bridal party, then I will need an additional 20-30 minutes.

WHAT IS A FIRST LOOK?
The first look is a special moment between the couple that takes place before the ceremony. We have the groom with his back to the bride, and get some awesome shots of her walking up behind him. After that, the groom will turn around and we will capture your expressions as you see each other for the first time.

WHAT IS A DAY AFTER SESSION?
A Day After Session is usually held after the wedding, sometimes the next day. The bride and groom get dressed up in their wedding attire and we will have a photo shoot at the places the bride and groom choose. This is a relaxed session that last up to 3 hours and is a chance for you to have fun, let loose and get some amazing pictures you couldn’t of had captured on your wedding day!

I AM READY TO BOOK. WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
For me to reserve your date, I require a non-refundable $500 retainer fee and a signed contract. I can break up the remainder of the balance into 4-6 payments, with the last payment being due 3wks prior to your wedding date. I will send you the proposal and everything is done online through the super easy program, in which you can review the contract, sign it, and pay invoices online.
