Texas Old Town: Casey & Katie

December 29, 2010

Casey and Katie got married at Texas Old Town in Kyle Texas the day before Halloween.  This Rustic Texas wedding had tons of fun & playful whimsical touches including a photo-booth, candy apple favors & the car shaped groom’s cake. Katie and Casey are both educators and I don’t think thier wedding would of been complete without thier Halloween themed kids corner and apple bobbing tub. We had a lot of fun at this wedding playing cops & robbers and this was one of the more relaxed weddings of the year. Congratulations guys!

Now that Sara is married I can share some of her beautiful bridals that I took in Downtown New Braunfels. She looked radiant in all her pictures. I loved her something-blue shoes and her white anemone flower hair pin from etsy.

I just love the way Aja first described her wedding plans to me, “traditional/romantic, with a twist of off-beat biker, a side of hippie, and a splash of rocker.” Aja and Gus did a wonderful job blending their semi-traditional-Mexican-Catholic-biker and  Jewish-Irish-redneck-hippie-rocker wedding. Barbie Foerster coordinated and did floral at the Dry Comal Creek Vineyard event. Aja made all her lavender scented wine glass favor candles with the help of friends that adorned each table. They also threw sachets filled with lavender instead of rice and served Dry Comal Creek’s frozen sangria…YUM! I really enjoyed reading and looking at pictures on facebook of Aja’s wedding activities and projects as they unfolded before her wedding. Congrats guys!

Sara & Ryan’s elegant wedding reception was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown San Antonio. It was a regal affair with Shark Limos ushering us from the ceremony in a large party bus complete with a big screen tv’s, LED lights & lots of bubbly.  We stopped in downtown San Antonio for a few shots in the street and by the River Walk. Sara & Ryan’s colors were black and white with accents of red in their cake, flowers, and beautiful up-lights to set the mood of the reception hall. Congrats guys!
